Mirr (“Mirr”, “we”, “us”) is an AI wardrobe app for iOS. This policy explains what information the app collects, why we need it, and the choices you have. The short version: your closet is yours. We collect only what the app needs to work, we never sell your data, and you can delete everything at any time.
1. information we collect
- Account information. When you create an account we store your name, email address, and a securely hashed password. We do not see your password.
- Photos you upload. Clothing photos you import or capture are uploaded so our AI can cut out the garment, generate a name, and assign a category. Try-on photos are uploaded to render outfits on you.
- Generated content. The cut-outs, tags, outfits, try-on renders, saved looks, and wear logs that make up your wardrobe.
- Optional context. If you grant permission: approximate location (or a manually set city) for weather, calendar events for occasion-aware suggestions, and notifications for outfit plans. All of these are optional and the app works without them.
- Purchase information. Subscriptions and credit packs are processed by Apple through RevenueCat, our purchase-infrastructure provider. We receive your purchase status and entitlements — never your full payment card details.
- Device & diagnostic data. Basic technical information (device model, OS version, crash logs) used to keep the app working and to fix problems.
2. how we use your information
- To operate the app: catalogue your items, generate outfit suggestions, render virtual try-ons, and sync your wardrobe across your devices.
- To manage your account, credits, and purchases.
- To improve AI quality and fix bugs. Where machine learning is involved, your content is not used to train third-party models and is never used for advertising.
- To respond to support requests.
3. AI processing
Cataloguing and try-on rendering are performed by AI services we work with. Your photos are transmitted securely, processed to produce the result you asked for, and are not shared with other users or used to advertise to you.
4. sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us run Mirr, each bound to process data on our behalf:
- AI generation providers — garment cut-outs, tagging, and try-on renders.
- RevenueCat — subscription and purchase infrastructure.
- Cloud hosting providers — app backend and storage.
- Weather & calendar services — only if you enable those features.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.
5. data retention & deletion
Your wardrobe, photos, and generated content are kept for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual items in the app at any time, or delete your entire account — after that, your photos, generated content, and account information are deleted from our systems, with a short grace period in encrypted backups (typically up to 30 days) before they are fully purged.
6. permissions
- Photos & camera — to import clothing photos and take try-on photos. Only images you choose are uploaded.
- Location — approximate location for weather-aware outfits. Optional.
- Calendar — to factor upcoming events into suggestions. Optional.
- Notifications — outfit plan reminders. Optional.
You can revoke any permission at any time in iOS Settings.
7. children
Mirr is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.
8. security
We use HTTPS for all traffic, hash passwords, and scope access to data on a need-to-know basis. No service is perfectly secure, but we design Mirr so a leak of your fashion choices is the worst-case scenario — never your identity.
9. your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below. You can also delete your account directly in the app.
10. international transfers
Our service providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
11. changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update this page and revise the date above. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
